She was predeceased by : her husband Arthur James Johnson; her parents, Leonard Holstein and Stella Smith Holstein; her siblings, Lloyd Holstein, Irene Johnson, Marie Grass, Opal Cummings and Bernice Headley; and her grandchildren, Shannon and Angie.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Barker, Danny Johnson (Debbie), Patricia Johnson, Linda Johnson and Deborah Fairchild (J. D.). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
