He was predeceased by: his former wife Bernice Mullins Shamblin; his parents, Jesse Shamblin and Dessie Dawson Shamblin; his siblings, Madeline McKown, Virgil Shamblin and Ray Shamblin; and his daughter-in-law Jayne Shamblin.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Harless Shamblin; his children, Karen Perdue (Danny), Nancy Justice (Charlie), Larry Shamblin (Carolyn) and Randy Shamblin; his stepchildren, Anna Kirk (Sammy), Ashford and James Chambers; his grandchildren, Kim Cline (Lenny), Amy Westfall (Jim), Brad Cantley (Michelle), Jeff Justice, Joshua Justice (Natalie), Jacob Justice (Ashley), Leslie Shamblin, Nik Shamblin (Angelina), Meredith Shamblin and Bryan Shamblin; his granddaughter-in-law Heejin Justice; his stepgrandchildren, Brittany Price (J. T.), Blake Brewer and Levi Chambers; and his siblings, Justine Paxton, Linda Dunlap and Dana Shamblin. He is also survived by many extended family members and a host of friends.
