Alice M. Wintz-Langdale Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice M. Wintz-Langdale of Dunbar, West Virginia, who passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Alice's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Alice has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Galloway and Irene Bowen Wintz Galloway; her husband Hugh D. Langdale; and her brother Harvey Wintz Jr.. She is survived by: her niece Tami Wintz; her nephew Michael Wintz (Yvette); her great-niece Jessica Wintz Adams (Steven); and her close friend Alice McCallister.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens (3547 US-60, Barboursville, WV 25504).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Alice's name to: Kanawha Charleston Humane Association 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston WV 25311 in recognition of her love for animals.
