He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Young and Icy Young of Sissonville; and his siblings, Reba, Helen, Wanda, Guy, John, Jack and Buddy.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his son H. F. (Penny); his grandchildren, Austin and Aubrey; and his brothers, Bob (Ernie) and Larry (Mary Jo).
