She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Valloe Sayre and Hazel Bennett Sayre; her husband Howard F. Parsons; and her siblings, Robert Earl Sayre, Roy Wayne Sayre, Russell Lee Sayre, Clara Louise Wandling, Norma Lucille Smith, Betty Lou Lynch and Pat Vance.
She is survived by: her children, Howard F. Parsons Jr. (Linda Lou Parsons) of Ironton, OH and Donna J. Cottrill (Dennis R. Cottrill) of Hurricane, WV; her grandchildren, Kristen Nichole Cottrill of Morgantown, WV and Michael D. Sims of Ashland, KY; and her sister Stella Doughty of Dunbar, WV. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of Huntington-Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
