He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Newton Jr. and Margaret Little Moore; and his sister Patricia Moore. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Cassidy Owens, Mason and Westyn Owens; his sisters, Lelia McCormick of Blacksburg, VA and Marcia Ware (Julian) of Princeton; and his siblings' children, Amy Diduch, Jenny Ware, Sandy Ware and Alan McCormick.
