She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry C. Valentine and Ollie Marie Chenoweth Valentine; her husband Donald Gene Hale; and her siblings, Tom Valentine, Inabelle Clark and Betty Lambert.
She is survived by: her children, Rocky E. Hale (Sandy Vandevender) of Elkins, Donald "Donnie" Hale (Dawn) of Elkins and Donna Jean Sycafoose (Glenn) of Beverly; her brothers, William Valentine (Elaine) of Elkins and Jack Valentine of Belington; her granddaughters, Carla Hale and Angela Sycafoose Matthews (Ted); and her great grandchild Emma Justine Matthews. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
