He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Frances Hedrick; his son Bradley Calvin Shifflett; his granddaughter Tara Brooke Sipe; and his brothers, Joseph Medford, Ronald Lee, Maynard Elwood, Orval Ray and Clarence Edward Shifflett.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Susan Phillips (DeNeal), David Kevin Shifflett, Kimberly Kaye Thompson (Lanny), Sherry Leigh Bonner (Dave), Patricia Anne Thompson (Don) and Sandra Dee Shifflett; his grandchildren, Christopher Phillips, Casey Eichler (Mark), Christa, Derek Shifflett, Cody Thompson, Adam, Travis Bonner and Brandon Sipe; his great grandchildren, Morganne, Macey Phillips, Olivia, Emma, Anthony Eichler, Haley, Hayden Shifflett, Zayden Dodd, Gunner Bonner, Kage Bonner, Chase Bennett, Landyn and Nevaeh Sipe; and his nephew Don Shifflett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
