Charles Lane Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lane (Elkins, West Virginia), born in Adrian, West Virginia, who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Burton and Pauline Fane Kerns Lane; his son Robert Burton Lane; and his siblings, Perry Neil Lane and Mary Maxine Green (Lane).
He is survived by: his spouse Rachell Lucinda Williams; and his children, Teresa Toney of Ravenna, OH, Thelma Lane of Canton, OH, Dorothy Fritz of Canton, OH, Judy Hahn of Warren, OH, Timothy Lane of Alabama, William "Bill" Lane of Mill Creek and John Wayne Simmons of Havelock, NC.. He is also survived by his eighteen grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private family visitation will be held at the Talbott Funeral home on Tuesday May 5, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a graveside service to follow in the Fraternal Cemetery near Belington, full military rites will be accorded.
