We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2021, at the age of 85, Dorothy Lou Lipscomb of Elkins, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Emmett Jordan and Nettie Snow Barnes Jordan; and her siblings, James, Hosea, Charles, David Jordan and Betty Burner.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Doyle Lipscomb; her children, Samuel Doyle Lipscomb of Morgantown, Michael Edward Lipscomb of Hambleton, John Fitzgerald Lipscomb (Cindy) of Location Rd and Pamela Ann Glotfelty (Rick Ashby) of Oakland, MD; her sister Patsy Rankin; and her grandchildren, Eric, Matthew, Sierra, Shane, Willis, Rachel, Pam, Chris, Jeff, Matt and Marcy. She is also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
