She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Denver Delauder; her children, Tara Dawn Reel and John Michael; her brother Wortie; her parents, Wib Kittle and Katie Kittle; her brothers, David (Vickie), Larry (Janet) and Tom; and her sister-in-law Patty. She was also cherished by many nephews and nieces, and her grandchildren.

Ellen had been hospitalized and separated from her family due to the pandemic, but they found ways to let her know they were with her.
