It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elmer Richard Jackson (Elkins, West Virginia), who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Franklin and Lula Flossie Smith Jackson; and his brothers, Oris Jackson, Howard Jackson, Alfred Jackson, Guy Jackson and Ward Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Jean Sparks; his daughter Deanna Dawn (Bob Shepherd) of Nashport; his grandchildren, Jared Jackson of Elkins and Emily Wagner of Cumberland, Maryland.; and his sisters, Evelyn Sparks (David) of Marlinton, Eleanor Hamrick (Clifford) of Valley Bend and Betty Krumpe (Chuck) of Kinsman, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Social distancing and masks will be required during the visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Mountain Hospice, 1002 Crim Ave., Belington, WV or a charity of choice in memory of Mr. Jackson.
