He is survived by: his significant other Mary Everhart of Elkins; his daughter Sharon Butcher Howell (Mark) of Elkins; his grandchildren, Katelyn Wood, Jacob Vandevender and Brody Howell; his sisters, Elaine Yeatts (Ken) of Dinwiddie, VA and Ruby Lewis (Herb) of Dinwiddie, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Reta Butcher of Belington, Joyce Butcher of Colonial Heights, VA, Karen Butcher of Beverly and Jim Clark of Georgia.
