She was predeceased by: her parents, Orden Lantz, Sr. and Lucy White Lantz; and her siblings, Orden L. Lantz, Jr. and Helen R. Ratzer. She is survived by: her husband Paul L. Wood; her children, Charles "Chuck" McDonald, Jr. of Crested Butte, CO, Kelly Collett (Steven) of Buckhannon and Lisa McDonald (Arthur Louk) of Elkins; her stepson Gregory P. Wood of Martinsburg, WV.; her grandchildren, Marc, Scott Collett, Jerad Simpson, Tonya Spangler, Sydney Doyle, Greg Wood, Jr., Tara, Holly Wood and Karrie Bussard; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Macy Collett, Trent, Landon, Connor Wood, Jensen and Everett Bussard.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Highland Park United Methodist Church, c/o Jenny Pyles, 46 Charles Street, Elkins, WV 26241 or to the First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Hazel.
