It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Arlene McCauley (Elkins, West Virginia), who passed away on August 28, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother James Tucker; her husband Carlton Fred McCauley; her sons, Barry Douglas McCauley and David Allen McCauley; and her siblings, Earl, Paul, Lee Don Phares, Gladys McCauley, Hallie Rowan, Catherine Phares, Celia Durett and Wilda McCauley.
She is survived by: her sister Clara Bell Wilson Phares; her grandchildren, Annie and Matthew (Portia) of Elkins; her daughter-in-law Joetta McCauley of Buckhannon; and her friends, Lola Spotloe, Sandi Keaton, Linda McCollam, Van Broughton, Mary Higgins and Dottie.
