It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Doris Barrick of Elkins, West Virginia, born in Grafton, West Virginia, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Playford and Martha Elizabeth Bartlett Riley; her husband Richard F. Barrick; her son Richard F. Barrick, Jr.; her brother Harold Riley; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Barrick, Helen Blanche Riley and Bayrene Lenore Riley.
She is survived by: her brother Floyd F. Riley, Sr. of Beverly; her daughter-in-law Lucinda Mullennex Barrick of Elkins; her sibling's children, Floyd F. Riley, Jr. of Wilmington, NC, Ed Barrick of Salem, Roger Barrick of Hilton Head, NC, Sarah Riley of Pasadena, MD, Shirley Cole of Clarksburg and Susan Deem of Clarksburg; her close friends, Cindy Lauderbach of Elkins and Bobbi Jo Trimboli of Elkins; and her pet Pebbles.
As we continue to follow the CDC guidelines and the recent mandate by Gov. Jim Justice, social distancing as well as masks will be require for those in attendance.
