He is survived by: his sons, Gary Milton Shoemaker (Virginia "Ginny") of Elkins, Mark Bradley Shoemaker (Dawn) of Elizabeth City, NC and Chad Eric Shoemaker (Christie) of Elkins; his grandchildren, Caden Shoemaker of Elizabeth City, NC, Sara of Elkins, Sophia Shoemaker of Elkins and Kyler Shoemaker of Elizabeth City, NC; and his stepgrandchildren, Brittany, Kristen and Branden. He is also survived by several step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
