With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis Irene Hensley (Elkins, West Virginia), who passed away on February 15, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Phyllis Woodall Jarvis. She is survived by: her parents, Howard L. Woodall and Marie Hanshaw Woodall; her children, Sylvia Marie Seay (Kurt), Diana Kay Patella (Chris) of Elkins, Teresa Elaine Collier (Clifford) of Ft, Aaron Wesley Hensley (Marsha) of Lexington, KY and David Lee Hensley of Elkins; her grandchildren, Rachel Pearl (Stephen) of Orchard Park, NY, Nicholas Patella (Ann Marie), Emily Bennett, Austin Collier and Alexandra Collier; her great grandchildren, Joshua of Ryan, N. J. and Noah; her niece Belinda Jarvis Baisden; her spouse Methodist Circuit Riding Pastor; Newton Circuit and Clendenin Circuit.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Women and the We Care Group at First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Janis.
