We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2020, at the age of 79, Joan Carol Crouch (Elkins, West Virginia) passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon Ryan and Emma Belle Smith Gibson; her close friend Lacy Parker Canfield; and her siblings, Richard, Robert, Berlin "Bug" Gibson, Norma "Butch" Sutton and Cleota "Biggy" Vanscoy.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Ray Fretwell (Teresa Corcoran) of Elkins, Ronald Eugene Fretwell (Kristel) of Pensacola, FL and Angela Christine "Angie" Fretwell (Randy Price) of Elkins; and her siblings, William Gibson of Elkins, Guy Gibson of Elkins, Leota "Runt" West of Elkins and Connie "Corn" Boyles of Flatwoods, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
As we continue to follow the CDC guidelines, social distancing as well as masks will be required for those in attendance.
