He was predeceased by: his parent Oscar Ray; and his siblings, Ernest, Lester, Jimmy Jr., Kenny, Ellen, Ada, Inetta and Inez.
He is survived by: his parent Virginia Mae Snyder Kalar; his spouse Catherine Sue Gainer Kalar; his children, Brian Kalar and Janel Martin; his brother Aaron Richard Kalar; his wife Roberta Mae of Montrose; his sister Jean Wilmoth of Parsons; and his grandchildren, Kobe Lincoln and Bowen Kash Kalar.
