Lois Lee Carr Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2020, at the age of 84, Lois Lee Carr (Elkins, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gatewood Semones, Sr. and Georgia Poling Semones; her grandparents, Arthur, Russie Semones, Ira and Rosa Belle Poling; her daughter Arlene Cathers; her stepdaughter Linda Channel (late Ray); and her siblings, John Gatewood Semones, Jr., Ardith Ferguson (Fred), Becky Elzinga (Allen) and Lyndoll Burton.

She is survived by: her sons, James Kyle (Emma) of Belington, WV, David Kyle (Teresa) of Philippi, WV and Stephen Kyle of Elkins; her son-in-law Ed Cathers; her daughter Brenda Crowder (Tom) of Chester, VA; her stepdaughters, Gail Griffith (Wayne) and Vickie Carr; and her siblings, Gary Semones (Elaine) of California and Adrienne Vance (Hollis) of Elkins. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, six step great grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.
