He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. "Buck" Ramsey and Hazel Phillips Ramsey; his wife Nancy Carolyn Woods; his brothers-in-law, John Fox and Sam Aman; and his parents-in-law, James and Hazel Woods.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Ramsey of Morgantown, James "Turk" Ramsey (Sarah) of Elkins, Jack Judy (Becky) of Elkins and Ryan White (Ashley) of Buckhannon; and his siblings, Joanne Pastine (Jerry), Robert "Butch" Ramsey (Phyllis), Linda Aman, Dorothy Fox, Debby Sleeth (Mike), Mike Ramsey (Lisa), Lesa Gray (Mark) and Don Ramsey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law.
