It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Giles Herron (Elkins, West Virginia), born in Hyden, Kentucky, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Deloris Delmas "Dutch" and Mary Rose Cox Giles; her husband Willard Herron; her sons, Michael Delmas Herron and Stephen Lee Herron; her grandchildren, Amy Herron, Rebecca Herron of Charlotte and Leia Drakeford (Kelvin) of Concord; her daughter-in-law Libby; her brother George Willis "Bill" Giles (Donna); and her child Cub Scouts. She was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
