It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margie Lavon Sutton of Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Shreve and Catherine Shreve; her husband John Sutton; and her sister Edna Slayton. She is survived by: her children, Steven Sutton (Sharon) of Elkins and Deborah Sutton Cook (Steven) of Elkins; her granddaughters, Chelsey Hughes of Elkins, Shelly Carr (Tracy) of Elkins and Emily Currence (Joshua) of Elkins; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Addison Carr and Mikaela Currence.
In lieu of flowers, Margie requested that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to the Randolph County Senior Center, P. O. Box 727, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Margie.
