She was predeceased by: her parents, Murl Roosevelt and Lydia Currence Tenney; her daughter Brenda Currence Watson; and her siblings, Arley, Letcher, Clayton, Myron Tenney and Betty Jean Zickafoose.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara George (Mike) of Mabie and Margaret "Maggie" George (Jeff) of Mabie; her stepdaughter Angela Deaver of Midland, TX; and her sisters, June Armstrong of Elkins, Flossie Lauderbach of Medina, OH, Chrissie Wamsley of Ashland, VA and Glenda Thrift of Richmond, VA.. She is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
