He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mack and Goldie Pauline Ryan Hess; and his siblings, Clarence Guy, Thomas Gavin, Charles Junior, Leonard Gail Hess and Katheryn Jean Raines. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
