She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eakin and Rose Eakin; her husband Kenneth Russell Cobb; and her sister Carroll Victoria Eakin. She is survived by: her daughters, Kaitlyn Victoria Shaffer of Morgantown and Karen Alyssa Cobb of Elkins; her grandchild Thea Shaffer; her son-in-law S. Cole Shaffer; her siblings, Kathryn Eakin of Elkins and Robert W. Eakin of Elkins; her sister-in-law Sandra Cobb; and her siblings' children, Stephanie Van (Bulk), Jane Cobb and Brett Cobb.
Family asks for memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to be made to a local charity or non-profit organization of choice but does offer the following suggestions: Randolph County Humane Society, Catholic Charities WV, or the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center Memorial Fund.
