He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Foster; his sons, Caleb Pennington (Clara) and Justin Pennington; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Reaschella (Chad), Paula Keene and Sonya Keene; his granddaughter Josie Mashburn; and his siblings, Darrell Pennington, Eric Pennington (Cammie), Sheila Pennington and Dennis Pennington. He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren.
