Violet L. Himes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet L. Himes of Elkins, West Virginia, born in Beverly, West Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barbe and Elsie Phillips Barbe; her husband Roy C. Himes; her sisters, Mary Frances Likens and Willa Jean Rice; and her grandparents, Boliver Barbe, Hanna Phillips Barbe, Francis and Lydia Fox Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Roy Himes of Culloden, WV and Donna Covey (Bill) of Elkins; her sister Rose Marie Riemenschneider of Minerva, OH; and her parent-in-law D'Ann Himes. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing will be required for those attending the service.
