It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William A. Covey of Elkins, West Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benjamin and Sadie Talbert Covey. He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Himes; his children, James Edward Covey (Karen) of Langhorne, PA, Jason Himes Covey (Allison) of Clifton, VA, Beverly Ann Covey of Virginia Beach, VA, Carol Covey Bleck (Robert) of Lakeridge, VA and Jennifer Covey Lamb (Andrew) of Centreville, VA.; his sister Meryl Covey Stoll (Charles) of Shadyside, MD; his brother-in-law Thomas R. Himes of Culloden, WV; his grandchildren, Christine, Amanda (Michael), Ryan, Robyn, Ashley, Hannah, Nathan, Violet, Anna and Grace; and his great grandchildren, Harlee and Arianna. He is also survived by One niece, two nephews, four great nieces and great nephews.
