William Nunley Snedegar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2021, at the age of 78, William Nunley Snedegar of Elkins, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nunley Beard Snedegar and Violet Marie Cox Snedegar. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Jenifer Clay of Jacksonville and Kimberly Allen of Valrico, Florida; his sisters, Suzanne Snedegar of Bethesda, Barbara Burnside of Greensboro and Jean Snedegar of Elkins; his nephews, Bruce Burnside (Julie Hamra) of Brooklyn and Ben Burnside (Christine) of Greensboro; and his close friends, Sharon Collett, Sue Cooper, Bernie Helmick and Rick Thorne.
Due to COVID 19, there will be a small private burial service for Bill at Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins conducted by The Rev. Dr. Basil Hensley.
