It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Shafer of Elkview, West Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Danny Ray Shafer; and her mother Betty Lee Ashworth. She is survived by: her stepson Billy Ray; her daughter-in-law Christine Shafer of Reedy; her stepgrandchildren, Amber Wilson, Josh Shafer, Stephanie Shafer, Jessica Elswick, Matthew Shafer and Kaitlyn Shafer; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ethan Marks Payton Pauley, Lilly Elswick and Jacob Elswick. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.
