He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his parents, Arthur T. Sr. and Josephine F. Koontz; and his siblings, Francis M. Koontz Sr. (Frank), Arthur T. Koontz Jr. (Benny), Ruth Carnefix, Nancy Carnefix and Evelyn Norman.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Willis; his grandchildren, Christina Willis and Jeremy Willis; and his great grandchildren, Zachary Earl, Alyssa Lynn, Grace Kathleen, Macie Elizabeth, Malakai Clifford and Liam Richard. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
