He was predeceased by: his father Joseph "Carl" Fitzwater. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Stalnaker Fitzwater; his mother Radie Lee Fitzwater of Indore; his children, JoyBeth Fitzwater-Workman (James) of Wytheville Va and Joby Fitzwater (Marie) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Kati (Josh Nelson) of Wytheville, John Carper Workman (Jordan) of Draper, VA, Joseph "Joe" Fitzwater of Elkview, Jessica of Elkview and Tamara (Matthew Harper) of Elkview; his great grandchildren, Libbie Kate Nelson and Joby Clay Harper; his siblings, Joe Fitzwater (Charlotte) of Indore, WV, Jim Fitzwater (Joy) of Indore, WV and Beverly King (Gary) of Maysel, WV; his sister-in-law Karen Truman (Kermit) of Fullerton, California; and his aunts, Bobbie Jean Workman (Doyle), Naomi (Fred Woods) of Texas, Nancy Lowen (Mike) of California and Sharon Boyer (Grady) of St. Albans, WV. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
