He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Lexi Sammons Trent Sr.; his wife Ginith Kay McNeely Trent (Katy); his daughter Terri Trent Booth; his grandsons, Ronald Adair and Johnny Ray Trent Jr.; and his sister Yvonne Trent Dodd.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Brumfield (Mike) of McConnell, Elaine Hartman (John) of Stollings, Laura Ferrell (Mike) of Ethel, Thelma Robinette (Stephen) of Florida and Johnny Trent (Susie) of Henlawson; his grandchildren, Chasity Adair, Tara Lucas (Stephen), Trey Hartman (Brittney), Angie Robinette, Jason Brumfield (Tracy), Soni Workman, Michael Ferrell, Johnna, Collin and Conner Trent; his great grandchildren, Jacob Adair, Maddy Lee, Hadley, Hollyn Hartman and Grayson Lucas; and his siblings, Judy Browning, Bonnie Podunavac (Steve), Gene Trent (Kathy) and Jim Trent (Robin).
