He was predeceased by : his parents, Wayne Vest and Jeanette Crouch Vest; and his sister Carolyn Lester. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Daniel Vest; his son Steven L. Vest of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Braxton Vest of Coal City, Gage Vest of Tennessee and Kensie Revis of Tennessee; his brother Jerry Vest (Libby) of White Oak; his niece Samantha Pack of Piney View; his nephews, Jamie and Jeremy Lester; his great-nephew Warren Pack; and his close friend Dr. Julian Chipley.
