He is survived by: his wife Judith Kaye Bland; his mother-in-law Trudy Halstead; his stepchildren, Stephanie Lynn Richmond Boswell (Matt), Katherine Louise Hunter and Michael Shawn Richmond; his grandchildren, Breanna Boswell, Audrey Elsie Tantillo, Riley Noel Level, Darris Boswell and Gabriel James Tantillo; his sisters-in-law, Teresa Bostic and Georgeann Godby; his sister Dreama Burns; his aunts and uncles, James "Pretty" Vance, Robert Vance, Jerry Vance, Margaret Brown and Remona Graham; his friends, Wes Hylton, Phillip Bolt, Frank Sears, Bruce Loudermilk and Sheila Williamson; and also Jimmy Vance.
