He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley D. Tennant and Beatrice L. Shipp Tennant. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Klingensmith Tennant; his son J. B. (Shirley Tennant) of Fairmont; his stepdaughter Niki (Michael Drees) of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Seth Yates, Christopher Yates, Jeremiah Yates and Ashley Drees; his sister Diane (Rocky Glover) of Abingdon, VA; his niece Dee Dee (Jeoff Bodenhorst) of Abingdon, VA; and his great-nephew Joey Curtis. He is also survived by 4 great -grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Marion County Toy Drive, 924 Sylvan Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554.
