It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Taylor Woodward of Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland H. Taylor and Alice Milner Taylor; her husband Joseph D. Woodward; her stepmother Viola Woods Taylor; her son John D. "Woody" Woodward; her son-in-law Steven Ray Game; and her brother Jerry Taylor.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan (Richard Haley) and Carol Woodward Game of Morgantown; her daughter-in-law Kim Woodward of Southside, WV; her grandchildren, Chelsea Woodward, John Woodward, Rebecca (Jay Nellis), David Haley, Dylan Game (Bella Hyslop) and Taylor Game; her sister-in-law Marian Taylor of Seattle; and her caregivers, Jamie Moore, Kimberly Pierce, Patty Fetty and Wendy Ribel. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the P.E.O. Chapter R, 20 Limerick Lane, Fairmont, WV 26554 with the goal to establish educational scholarships for women.
