Tennant of Fairmont, West Virginia, born in Wadestown, West Virginia, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde J. Batson and Rose Marie Mayfield Batson; her husband Ronald Blaine Tennant; and her brothers, Arnold "Butch" (Peg Batson) and Ronald "Ronnie" Batson.

She is survived by : her children, Jeffrey (Tessie Tennant) of Fairmont and Kimberly (Shane Rogers) of Fairmont; her granddaughter Hailey Rogers of Morgantown; her sister Karen Rose (David Hunter) of Barrackville; and her sister-in-law Carla Batson Pedigo of Ida May. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
