It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenda Mae Phillips Laska of Fairmont, West Virginia, born in Idamay, West Virginia, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John T. Phillips and Nora Hall Phillips; her son Criss A. Heston; her siblings, John T. Phillips II, Rosa Lee Babbitt and Noreen Duncan; and her brother-in-law Jerry Laska.

She is survived by : her husband Lewis Alexander Laska; her daughters, Nora L Heston (Robert Bagby) of Raleigh, NC and Janet M. Heston of Fairmont; and her sister-in-law Warene Laska of Arizona. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ford Funeral Home (201 Columbia St, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
