It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Ellen Connell Hess of Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mulford Connell and Gretchen Ellen Neese Connell; her husband Melvin Clare Hess; and her sister Jeanne Brucciani. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Hess (Shannon Aiken) of Asheville, NC and Jill Hess (Roger Glass) of Taylor County; her grandson Adam Aiken of Asheville, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Kay Charlton and Judy Shreve. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
