He was predeceased by : his parent Melvin Dwight; his wife Shirley Ann Garrison; and his siblings, Robert Garrison, William Garrison and Jackie Creamer.

He is survived by : his parent Margaret Garrison (Bartok); and his daughters, Robin Kenefick (Jim) of Follansbee, WV and Kelly Faulkner of Weirton, WV. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
