He was predeceased by : his parents, Roscoe Gill and Pauline Ward Gill; his sons, Johnny Rathburn Gill Jr. (Amber) and Jason Gill; his siblings, Belva Gill and Bobby Gill; his brother-in-law Paul Thornquest; his nephew Tracey Gill; and his sister-in-law Cathy Gill.
He is survived by : his close friend Gaye Handy; his siblings, Linda Thornquest and David "Lucky" Gill (Della); and his nieces and nephews, Bonnie Ward and Ashley Phillip.
