It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Guy McCaslin of Fort Ashby, West Virginia, born in Oregon, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold McCaslin and Mildred McCaslin (Van Keuren); his siblings, Richard, Dennis, David and Nadine; and his brother-in-law Allen Streett.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McKenzie McCaslin (Deremer); his stepson Douglas McKenzie (Robin); his grandson Brendan McKenzie of Fort Ashby; his sister Renee Blamer of Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Deremer, Blair Deremer (Sherry) and Patsy Streett of Fort Ashby.
Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be held at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Ashby—with date and time to be announced.
