He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward Lee Suesse, I and Ina Theresa Suesse (Lepley); his son Robert Edward Lee Suesse, III; and his stepsister Roxie Baker. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine E. Suesse; his son Christian Suesse (Jennifer); his daughter-in-law Angela Suesse; his grandchildren, Katelynn, Robbie (IV), Ava, Carson and Collin; and his stepsister Donna Albright.
