She was predeceased by : her husband Edmond "Bus" Thompson; and her son Edmond Thompson Jr.. She is survived by : her sons, John "Butch" (Opal "Toots" Thompson) of Wooster and David Wesley Thompson of Fort Gay; and her grandchildren, Dr. Paul Jackson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida., Dr. Kimberley Thompson-Hairston (Rick Hairston), Laura Faye Thompson, Kara Edinger, Wesley Thompson and Sarah Thompson.
