Harry Norman Nix Jr. Obituary

Harry Nix, Jr., 57, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his home. JR was born January 8, 1966 in Huntington, WV to the late Harry and Lorena (Dowden) Nix. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Terry Eugene Nix and Kelly Bob Nix; and father in law Henry Peters.

Survivors include his wife Mary Peters Nix; children Lindsey (Brandon Runyon) Nix and Levi Nix; grandchildren Emily Runyon and Everly Runyon; sisters Linda Thomas and Kandi Lee Brumfield; nieces and nephews Bo (Johnda) Brumfield, Ashlee Hylton, Bobbi Christy, and Billy Thomas; and mother in law Patricia Peters.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Nix Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of services at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
