She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira Dean and Dorothy Terry Dean; her daughter Gwendolyn Jean Thompson Fetherolf; her daughter-in-law Melissa Sue Maynard Thompson; her brother Clyde Dean; and her stepgrandson Anthony Robertson.

She is survived by : her husband John Cecil Thompson; her sons, John Clinton of Fort Gay, WV, William Leroy Thompson of Fort Gay, WV and Jeffery Cecil Thompson (Robin Cliff Thompson) of Huntington, WV; her siblings, Brenda Faye Reger (Mike) of Georgia, Elizabeth Ann Drummond (Tracy) of Georgia and Dencil Dean (Ruby) of Lavalette, WV; her daughter-in-law Diane Evans; her grandchildren, Tina Jervis, Erica Fetherolf, Jonathan Thompson, Meagon Fetherolf and Amanda Carley; and her stepgrandchildren, Jason Robertson, Ashley Robertson, Nathan J. Korne and Avery B. Korne. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be required.
