We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gaylon Charles Sponaugle of Franklin, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Gaylon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gaylon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sponaugle and Pauline Sponaugle (Wimer); and his brothers, Olin, Berlie and Merle.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Gail Sponaugle; his son Kevin Charles Sponaugle (Pamela) of Franklin, WV; his grandson Kyle Charles Sponaugle of Morgantown, WV; and his great grandchild Juniper Jade Sponaugle.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blue Grass United Methodist Church (3080 Blue Grass Valley Rd, Blue Grass, VA 24413). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
